Winter Zoo School

Registration for 2017 Winter Zoo School is now open! Presidents’ Day weekend is filled with great opportunities to have fun and learn at the zoo. Check out our exciting programs that are coming up this February!

2017 Winter Schedule

  • February 17, 2017 (4-7 year olds)
    Animal Tracks and Signs
    Students will learn about animal tracking and how to spot signs of local wildlife throughout the year.
  • February 18, 2017 (4-7 year olds)
    Here or There?
    Children will meet some of the animals native to our area, learn how they survive in our climate, and compare them to other animals from around the world.
  • February 19, 2017 (8-10 year olds)
    Native Americans and Wildlife
    Children learn how Native Americans live with and interact with local wildlife through stories and games.
  • February 20, 2017 (8-10 year olds)
    Taking Care of Our Neighbors
    Students will learn about how we can take care of local wildlife–from bird feeders to changing our behavior to preserve habitats.

Program Cost

  • Zoo School Half Day (9:00 am – 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm)
    $15/session for members
    $20/session for non-members
  • Before/After Care (8:30 am – 9:00 am, 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm)
    $4/time frame for members, non-members
