Treat your mom to a lovely day of fun at the Binghamton Zoo! To thank them for all that they do, all moms will receive free admission on Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is sponsored in part by Wild 104 and 98.1 The Hawk.

Don’t forget to sign up for the 4th Annual Run Wild! 5k Run/Walk at the Vestal Coal House on Saturday, May 20th! Runners and walkers will both start at 11:00 am. This is a USATF certified 5K NY14087J on the Vestal Rail Trail. The ZooMobile and educational displays will be on the course, and participants can visit the animals during and after the 5K run/walk! There will be medals awarded to overall and age group winners. Juggler extraordinaire, Will Stafford will be on-site and there will be live music on the patio! There will be a school participation contest with cash prizes awarded to the schools with the most participants. A free kids run will be held after the 5K! The Binghamton Zoo will be having an Endangered Species Day on Sunday, May 21st. Endangered Species Day is an opportunity for people of all ages to learn about the importance of saving endangered species and everyday actions they can take to help protect them. A free ZooMobile will also take place at the Ross Park Amphitheater presented by McDonald’s that day from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

The Binghamton Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton, NY. General admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-11.
