How much can two tigers eat?! Our new additions; Koosaka and Terney eat 7,300 lbs of meat every year. That means our annual food budget continues to increase as we grow and expand our animal collection at the Binghamton Zoo.
Every day the Binghamton Zoo animal care staff provides nutritionally balanced meals to our family of over 300 animals. In addition to their meals, each animal receives a treat in the form of an enrichment snack at least twice a week. The challenge that the zoo faces is obtaining the funds necessary to sustain the variety and quality of nourishment each animal needs. That is why we need your support! The cost of feeding our animals is $50,000 annually. Your generous donation given through our 3rd Annual Appeal for Groceries will defray this cost and allow us to continue to improve the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park. Please help us feed our zoo family by choosing a “giving plate” that best suits you: Breakfast - $25 Lunch - $50 Dinner - $100 Snacks & Treats - $250 Dessert - $500 Thank you, in advance, for your support and for helping us with our “groceries.” You may use the button below or donate by mail at 185 Park Ave Binghamton NY 13903 Sincerely,
Sharon Witte
