July 24, 2010 (Ice Cream
Safari) Visitors will receive
a Safari passport which will allow them to sample 5 different flavors of
ice cream at different locations within the zoo. This years safari
will feature your favorite Star Wars characters serving delicious
inter-galactic flavors, such as Darth Chocolate, Lightsaber Mint, and Phantom Strawberry. Visitors can also create their own Supernova Sundae
at our Sundae Station, featuring a variety of syrups and
toppings. The fun starts at 5:30pm and goes til 8:30pm.
Ticketbooth closes at 7:30pm.
($5 for members, $6 for
non-members.)
August 25, 2010 (Feast with
the Beasts) Our largest
fund-raising event of the year. Join us for a progressive dinner
throughout the zoo, featuring food and beverages from regional
restaurants, wineries, and vendors. (Advance Tickets can be
purchased at our Ticketbooth: $35.00 for Zoo Members, $40.00 for
Non-members) *Prices increase $5.00 on the day of the event.
September 11th, 2010 (Enrichment
Day) Come participate in our enrichment
day scavenger hunt. Visitors will be receive a passport with their zoo
admission and use it to locate enrichment items hidden in exhibits
throughout the zoo. (No
additional cost, other than zoo admission)
September 18, 2010 (Zoo Brew) Come sample a variety of unique, local, and specialty beers, while
enjoying a delicious BBQ Dinner. Doug Mosher will be providing
live entertainment for the evening. All attendees must be at least
21 years old. (Advance Tickets
can be purchased at our Ticketbooth: $25.00 for Members, $30.00 for
Non-Members, Designated Driver: $10.00) *Prices increase $5.00 on the
day of the event.
October 2nd, 3rd, 9th &10th, 2010 (Family
Boo at the Zoo) Come enjoy our
family friendly Halloween event, featuring pumpkin painting, apple
bobbing, and other fun activities.

(Boo at the Zoo) Our most
popular zoo event. Share the zoo with ghosts, goblins, and ghouls.
Event recommended for visitors 10 and over.
